Minor Selected to MASCAC Women’s Basketball Weekly Honor Roll

Framingham, Mass. - Freshman forward Kia Minor (Oak Bluffs, Mass.) was selected to the Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Basketball Weekly Honor Roll for the week ending January 24^th.  This is the third time Minor has been selected to the honor roll in her rookie season.

Minor averaged 14.3 points and 7.3 rebounds in a 2-1 week for the Rams.  She notched her fifth double-double of the season with 13 points and 11 rebounds in a 63-44 victory over MCLA on Thursday and finished the week with 18 points and five boards as the Rams beat Westfield State for the first time since 2003.

Minor is currently leading the Rams in scoring averaging 12.5 points per game and is second on the team averaging 8.0 rebounds per game.  Her 69 offensive rebounds ranks first in the conference.
