Brown Named Head Ice Hockey Coach

Framingham, Mass. - Framingham State College Director of Athletics Tom Kelley is pleased to announce the hiring of T.J. Brown as the Rams head ice hockey coach. Brown, who spent the last two seasons as an assistant coach with the Framingham State ice hockey program, replaces Jeff Pellegrini who resigned last week.
Brown graduated from the University of Massachusetts in Dartmouth in 2002 where he was an outstanding ice hockey player. He was a walk on at UMass Dartmouth and during his four years the Corsairs were 68-29-7 and made four appearances in the ECAC Northeast Postseason Tournament. Brown was among the conference scoring leaders each season and finished his career with 77 goals and 78 assists. At the time Brown finished his career, he was the ECAC Northeast All-Time leading scorer. He still ranks among the career scoring leaders at UMass Dartmouth and was a two time All-Conference selection in 2000 and 2002. In 2000, Brown was the ECAC Northeast leading scorer and was selected to the New England Hockey Writers First Team.
Brown, a Framingham native and former standout at Framingham High School, currently resides in Ashland and is a supervisor with Village Green Landscape and Construction.
